This collection was inspired by the Victorian bouquets of the nineteenth century, which combined rings of leaves and flowers circling one central bloom. These colorful arrangements of primroses boast vibrant blooms of crimson reds, sunlit yellows, royal blues and magentas, while pansies and heartsease mirror the shape of a delicate eyelet doily. The black background adds contrast and enhances this dramatic use of color. This design was included in a feature on Claire in Victoria Magazine several years ago. Center designs are hand hooked from 100% of the finest wool available. Braided borders are hand braided from a blend of many different yarns and in some cases Claires fabrics.
