"When I first purchased the inn, I had the good fortune to acquire many of the old sea captain's furnishing. Of the many interesting antiques there were these wonderful hooked rugs with braided borders. For many years I thought about them and now, I've recreated them with some of my more popular designs as centers." - Claire Murray. Center designs are hand hooked from 100% of the finest wool available. Braided borders are hand braided from a blend of many different yarns and in some cases Claires fabrics. Braided material differs in the various braid accented rugs ie wool, cotton, poly, chenille fabrics.
